US Program Associate

Location: Mississippi, USA; candidates must be based in Mississippi, preferably in the Delta or central Mississippi. Regular travel to Rx Kids sites across Mississippi is required, along with occasional travel to New York or elsewhere in the US for team events.

Base salary: $81,000 USD annually, plus bonus.

What you will do

• Lead recipient customer service through email and phone support, including intake guidance, case management, issue resolution, verification, payments, and follow-up surveys.
• Support operational and project management activities across multiple US cash-transfer initiatives.
• Track operational metrics, maintain process documentation, identify efficiency improvements, and learn the technology platforms used for program delivery.
• Coordinate with internal teams, technology and research partners, customer service teams, and community organizations.
• Build relationships with local partners and community members, represent the Rx Kids program locally, and organize outreach events.
• Support program evaluation, recipient feedback, storytelling, and strategies to improve operations and recipient satisfaction.

Requirements

• Based in Mississippi, with the ability to travel regularly to program sites; a car, driver’s license, and insurance are required.
• Fluent English; Spanish, Arabic, or Chinese proficiency is a plus.
• At least 2 years of work or volunteer experience involving project management and people management or coordination.
• Strong communication, organizational, time-management, customer service, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence skills.
• Ability to manage day-to-day operations, implement process improvements, learn new technology platforms, and work independently.
