House Manager

Location: Janesville, Wisconsin, USA; daily on-site presence required. The role operates Monday through Friday during typical office hours and includes a flexible on-call rotation covering weekends and odd hours.

Salary: $55,700–$62,300 per year, based on education level.

What you will do

• Oversee the operations of assigned group homes and residential programs.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 2–4 residential program sites with 1–4 residents per home and 10–12 direct reports per program.
• Develop, maintain, and review ISPs, BSPs, and IPPs.
• Partner with families, case managers, and other stakeholders.
• Manage household and individual budgets, employee schedules, team meetings, evaluations, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
• Train, coach, and develop direct-care employees in program implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, particularly in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Behavioral Science, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience, including hiring, discipline, and terminations.
• At least 1 year of full-time direct experience working with people with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
• Experience with mental health, challenging behaviors, crisis management, and behavioral interventions is preferred.
• Successful background clearance is required.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance are required.
