Maintenance Technician (Entry Level) (Manufacturing)

Location: Siler City, North Carolina, United States; onsite manufacturing plant

Hourly pay: $19.00–$21.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform routine and scheduled preventive maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical machinery using hand and power tools.
• Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues and identifying solutions.
• Follow OSHA and safety standards, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Read basic machine schematics and organize parts, tools, and materials.
• Work with supervisors and other departments on plant operations and special projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds independently.
• Willingness to provide personal tools as required.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow instructions.
• Entry-level candidates are welcome; 1–2 years of manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Experience using presses, drills, clamps, and other small tools.
• Basic troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Interest in precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and indicators.
