Base salary: $32–$50 per hour

What you will do

• Operate and maintain solar PV collection assemblies, battery energy storage systems, DC/AC inverters, and other renewable generation equipment.
• Perform qualified corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance and operations safely and efficiently.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair balance-of-plant equipment, roads, and site infrastructure.
• Support vegetation mitigation by operating tractors, riding mowers, and related equipment.
• Use electrical, schematic, wiring, and control diagrams to troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
• Initiate clearance permits and LOTO procedures, manage stored energy isolation, maintain technical records, and analyze plant reliability data.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of renewable-industry technician experience or related power-generation experience in electrical maintenance, operations, or plant construction.
• Electrical experience with voltages from 24V to 34.5kV; knowledge of voltages above 34.5kV is recommended.
• Knowledge of electrical or mechanical fundamentals, including electrical measurements, control circuits, and solid-state theory.
• Valid driver’s license.
• An associate degree in a related technical field or equivalent journeyman qualifications is desired.
