Location: Must live in the Lynchburg, Virginia geography or be willing to relocate there; territory includes Waynesboro, Charlottesville, Fishersville, and Staunton, Virginia. Travel up to 50% may include overnight and weekend travel. A valid driver's license issued in the United States is required.
Base pay: Sales Specialist $79,000–$127,650; Senior Sales Specialist $98,000–$157,550; Executive Sales Specialist $111,000–$178,250 per year.

What you will do
- Engage healthcare professionals and institutional stakeholders using customer-specific approaches aligned with practitioner priorities, patient outcomes, and account needs.
- Build expertise in the Neuroscience portfolio, including Caplyta, and communicate approved clinical and scientific information.
- Create and execute territory and account plans, prioritize stakeholders, and optimize engagement across face-to-face, virtual, and digital channels.
- Analyze business and market data to identify opportunities, assess performance, and adjust execution strategies.
- Apply knowledge of payer access, affordability, and reimbursement dynamics to support appropriate therapy utilization and adherence.
- Collaborate with internal partners and customers while maintaining healthcare compliance, privacy, data integrity, and policy alignment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; MS, MBA, or PhD preferred.
- At least three years of relevant experience in healthcare sales, account management, customer-facing roles, business-to-business sales, or recent active-duty military service.
- Must live in the territory or be willing to relocate to it.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
- Experience with structured selling, problem solving, strategic sales planning, partnership building, cross-functional collaboration, and data analysis.
- Ability to travel up to 50%, including possible overnight and weekend travel.
Nice to have
- Neuroscience therapeutic-area experience.
- Experience with complex accounts, institutional environments, integrated delivery networks, payer access, reimbursement, or affordability.
- Track record of achieving sales goals in competitive environments.
- Clinical and scientific communication experience using approved materials.
- Conversational Spanish and interest in learning emerging technologies such as AI.
