Planner (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Review planning reports, create stock transport orders, and convert planned orders into process orders aligned with customer ship dates.
• Consolidate and optimize process orders, consume available blocked stock, and incorporate QC-approved distressed inventory into new batches.
• Schedule manufacturing activities based on equipment availability and delivery requirements.
• Identify material shortages, resolve inventory discrepancies, and support rescheduling caused by equipment issues.
• Prepare and maintain accurate shop floor documentation, including prioritized records and reprints.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Raw Material Planning, Quality Control, Production, and outside toll manufacturers, including purchase orders, invoices, and GRIR monitoring.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of SAP SD, MM, and PP modules or similar ERP systems.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, prioritization, and data-accuracy skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven manufacturing environment and collaborate across supply chain, production, quality, and planning teams.
• Ability to work onsite in Dayton, New Jersey, during the day shift.

Nice to have

• Experience in chemical, flavor, or specialty manufacturing operations.
• Familiarity with toll manufacturing coordination and inventory reconciliation.
• Exposure to high-odor or specialty chemical production environments.
