Planner (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Analyze work orders, inventory levels, production schedules, and material requirements to improve assembly capacity and efficiency.
• Review shortage, expedite, fill-rate, on-time shipment, and past-due reports and take corrective action.
• Coordinate demand fulfillment with factory-floor departments, planners, Purchasing, and suppliers.
• Submit work orders to the Stockroom and Machine Shop to support assembly production.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts and act on MRP order releases, action messages, and exception messages.
• Adjust planning parameters such as order quantities, lot sizes, safety stock, and minimum/maximum quantities to meet production and sales deadlines.

Requirements

• 3+ years of inventory or production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience creating and managing complex manufacturing process schedules.
• Knowledge of electronics and mechanical products.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Applicants requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of JDE and SAP.
• APICS certification.
