Senior Operations Planner (Manufacturing)

Salary: $81,164–$135,275 annual base pay

What you will do

• Plan material requirements for forecasted orders and production demand within the Waterjet business unit.
• Generate work orders and coordinate manufacturing-cell workflows with Planning, Procurement, Customer Service, Warehouse, and Production teams.
• Develop supply replenishment methods and adjust Kanban quantities to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Apply lean planning techniques to reduce inventory while meeting lead-time and service-level expectations.
• Resolve shortages, expedite materials, and maintain accurate ERP updates for stakeholders.
• Analyze supply data, set item attributes, and perform root-cause analysis of inventory discrepancies.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of planning experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 2 years of ERP experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with engineered parts and the ability to influence stakeholders with strong attention to detail.

Nice to have

• B.S. in Business Management or a related field with 4+ years of experience.
• Oracle ERP knowledge.
• Experience in industrial equipment manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Lean/JIT production.
• APICS-CPIM certification.
