Project Manager (Nuclear Energy)

Salary: $150,000–$173,000 annually, paid bi-weekly

What you will do

• Own integrated execution of one or more nuclear development projects through the Front-End Loading stage-gate process.
• Manage project scope, schedules, deliverables, costs, risks, milestones, and critical paths.
• Integrate land, licensing, permitting, interconnection, engineering, environmental, finance, legal, commercial, and cost workstreams.
• Maintain project governance documents, risk registers, stage-gate checklists, and executive summaries.
• Prepare deliverable reviews and gate packages for governance board decisions.
• Analyze schedule acceleration, long-lead activities, decision-gate timing, budgets, and funding requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of project management experience on large capital projects, including 3+ years in early-phase development or FEL/FEED environments.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams within a stage-gate or phase-gate governance framework.
• Working knowledge of CPM scheduling, AACE cost estimate classification, risk management, and change control.
• Strong executive-level written communication and proficiency with Primavera P6 or MS Project and advanced Excel.

Nice to have

• Nuclear power development, licensing, or construction experience and familiarity with NRC regulations under 10 CFR Parts 50, 52, and 100.
• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification; an MBA or MS is a plus.
• Experience with utility-scale generation development, PJM/MISO interconnection queues, state siting programs, and land assembly.
• Experience applying AACE Recommended Practices for estimate classification and escalation.
