Salary: $99,000–$138,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead site selection and feasibility efforts for advanced nuclear generation projects.
• Develop siting criteria and oversee GIS analysis, environmental screening, and infrastructure assessments.
• Coordinate geotechnical, hydrological, seismic, and other technical studies.
• Manage regulatory compliance, permitting strategies, permit applications, and environmental documentation.
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
• Coordinate stakeholder presentations and interconnection studies with transmission planning and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, project management, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in energy project development, with an emphasis on siting and permitting.
• Familiarity with nuclear regulatory frameworks and advanced reactor technologies.
• Proficiency with GIS tools and data analysis.
• Strong project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with PJM or other regional transmission organization processes.
• Knowledge of NRC licensing requirements and NEPA environmental review.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced development environment.
