Biomedical Equipment Technician II (Medical Equipment)

Location: Cincinnati District site, West Chester, Ohio; primarily customer healthcare sites

What you will do

• Inspect, maintain, calibrate, and repair company- and customer-owned medical devices.
• Perform operational verification, preventive maintenance, and corrective repair service.
• Complete service records and computer data entry for billing and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with clinical staff about equipment features and functionality.
• Provide technical training on equipment operation, maintenance, repair, quality management, and ISO procedures.

Requirements

• Associate degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or biomedical equipment technology; equivalent military training or CBET certification may qualify.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and repairs for general medical equipment or specialized equipment such as anesthesia, imaging, network-smart technology, respiratory equipment, or sterilizers.
• Current, valid, unrestricted driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off-hours as needed for 24/7 support.
• Ability to travel periodically, lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds, and perform extended periods of standing, walking, bending, climbing, kneeling, and other physical activity.
