Senior Engineer Technician (Biotech)

What you will do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and calibrations on GMP and non-GMP equipment.
• Troubleshoot, test, repair, and optimize instruments, equipment, control systems, and clean utility systems.
• Maintain water rooms, pumps, motors, deionized water systems, WFI stills, clean steam generators, piping, refrigerators, and freezers.
• Support equipment start-up, commissioning, system turnover, and continuous improvement of the site maintenance program.
• Maintain validated equipment records, calibration documentation, training records, and change documentation.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance with internal departments, contractors, vendors, and Facilities Management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED plus at least five years of facilities maintenance or operations experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced knowledge of preventive maintenance and calibration in a cGMP biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or related manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of cGMP, GXP, GAMP, SDLC, pharmaceutical manufacturing systems, and laboratory equipment.
• Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work in confined spaces and at heights, and stand, walk, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods.
• Ability to work holidays and varying shifts, respond to site emergencies, and collaborate in a fast-paced matrixed environment.
