Equipment Maintenance Technician (Medical Device Manufacturing)

Location: Skaneateles, New York, United States; onsite, 3rd shift from 10:45 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Salary: $60,000–$82,500 annually

What you will do

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, filter changes, and replacement of worn parts.
• Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect, and calibrate mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic manufacturing equipment.
• Respond to urgent breakdowns, verify safe equipment operation, and minimize production downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance, repair, and equipment performance records.
• Work with Production, Engineering, Quality, and EHS teams to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and productivity.
• Support production employees with equipment operation and basic maintenance training while following 6S, safety, environmental, GMP, FDA, and ISO requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years of maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or electronic equipment.
• OSHA certification required or obtainable as required by the position.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and work in tight or hard-to-reach spaces.

Nice to have

• Associate degree, technical trade school training, or military technical training.
• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing.
• Additional technical certifications.
