Software Engineer 3 (UI/UX)

What you will do

• Modernize an existing data tracking and metrics system.
• Design and develop highly usable end-user interfaces using UI best practices and UX principles.
• Research analyst user profiles, performance requirements, workflows, and task scenarios.
• Create UI specifications, wireframes, mockups, interaction behaviors, design guidelines, and interactive prototypes.
• Collaborate with product designers, process engineers, development teams, analysts, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct accessibility, 508 compliance, usability, survey, and behavioral-data analysis to guide improvements.

Requirements

• United States citizenship and a position-appropriate security clearance are required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with an agency-appropriate polygraph is required.
• Twenty years of experience as a Software Engineer supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; four additional years of relevant SWE experience may substitute for the degree.
• Five years of experience in user-centered design, UI best practices, usability testing, and the software development lifecycle.
• Working knowledge of Linux, CSS, JavaScript, HTML, UI/UX, and 508 compliance.

• Experience with Adobe Suite.
