Senior-Level User Experience (UX) Designer (JavaScript)

Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland, United States — on-site

Salary: $145,000–$165,000 per year

What you will do

• Design user experiences for Agentic Knowledge Management Systems supporting analysis and mitigation missions.
• Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to identify insights and improvement opportunities.
• Write and maintain front-end code and develop components with modern web technologies.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate front-end solutions with existing services and mission workflows.
• Ensure implementations meet performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility requirements.
• Create and maintain UX documentation, including design guidelines, style guides, technical plans, milestones, and user guides.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and experience combinations up to a high school diploma/GED with 12 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Vue.js.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Flexibility for earlier or later reporting times based on customer requirements.
