Software Development Engineer III, Frontend (React)

Location: Greater Seattle Area, United States. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals, U.S. permanent residents, or lawfully admitted refugees or asylees.

Base pay for Washington applicants: $164,652.00–$230,512.80 annually; ranges may differ by site.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications and internal tools for manufacturing automation, workflow improvement, and performance benchmarking.
• Lead frontend architecture and implementation using React, TypeScript, reusable components, and scalable UI patterns.
• Build responsive interfaces that simplify complex manufacturing and operational workflows.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful or GraphQL APIs and enterprise systems, contributing to backend services when needed.
• Apply AI technologies, DevOps practices, testing, monitoring, and deployment automation to improve enterprise software.
• Document architecture and workflows, identify usability issues, and mentor engineers in frontend engineering practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Expert-level production experience with React and TypeScript, including component architecture, state management, build tools, and testing frameworks.
• Experience building responsive enterprise interfaces and integrating RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Backend experience with Java, Python, JavaScript/Node.js, or C#, plus familiarity with SQL, databases, cloud infrastructure, and version control.
• Must satisfy U.S. export-control employment eligibility requirements and work in the Greater Seattle Area.

Nice to have

• Experience with design systems, reusable component libraries, frontend performance, accessibility, and secure web applications.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of ERP, MES, manufacturing, IoT, operational dashboards, or industrial workflows.
• Interest in manufacturing, IoT, and Generative AI systems.
