Production Associate (Cylinder Filler)

Location: Elmira, NY, United States; on-site, 1st shift Monday–Friday, 5:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m.

What you will do

• Safely handle and fill liquid, medical, and high-pressure gas cylinders.
• Inspect cylinders, valves, caps, and odors before filling and verify product purity and mixtures.
• Prepare cylinders and cryogenic vessels, connect manifolds, evacuate cylinders, and fill by pressure and weight.
• Load and unload cylinders using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Maintain accurate records and quality-control documentation in line with DOT, FDA, OSHA, and hirify.global standards.
• Identify gas hazards, cylinder sizes, contents, and color codes, and support accurate labeling.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work on-site in Elmira, NY.
• Knowledge of gas hazards, safety procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Ability to perform calculations using whole numbers, fractions, decimals, rates, ratios, and percentages.
• At least one year of related technical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system.
• Intermediate knowledge of Google Suite or Microsoft Office.
