Production Associate II (Manufacturing)

Location: Salisbury, North Carolina, USA; onsite manufacturing environment

Salary: $18–$21 per hour, plus benefits

What you will do

• Operate basic manufacturing equipment, including molds, saws, and routers.
• Perform work-order requirements and produce parts within specified tolerances and production rates.
• Measure product quality using measurement instrumentation.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workstation and follow safety and operating procedures.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and waste reduction.

Requirements

• At least one year of manufacturing or machine-operation experience or training.
• High school diploma, GED, TASC, or an equivalent combination of education and life experience is highly desired.
• Basic mechanical skills and the ability to read basic drawings and operating instructions.
• Basic arithmetic and measurement calculation skills using a calculator.
• Effective English communication by telephone, in person, and in writing.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, handle materials, and lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 60 pounds occasionally; PPE is required.

• Full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
