Truck/Trailer Mechanic

Location: Hamilton, Ontario, Canada — Burlington St (LSC)

Salary: CAD 46.09 per hour

What you will do

• Prepare rolling stock and ancillary equipment for connection to customer systems.
• Rig in and pressure-test equipment before nitrogen or liquid pumping operations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trailer electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components.
• Diagnose trailer issues, determine repair actions, and assemble or disassemble components.
• Maintain repair records, monitor equipment and safety gauges, and return equipment to base.
• Keep the work area safe and follow occupational health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Valid 310T or 310J Truck/Trailer Technician license required.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, brake systems, and electrical systems.
• Ability to lift heavy parts and work in physically demanding environments.

Nice to have

• Welding experience.
