Maintenance Mechanic (Industrial Electrical & Instrumentation)

What you will do

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical, instrumentation, and control systems throughout the facility.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled systems, sensors, motors, drives, instrumentation, and related control devices.
• Calibrate, tune, install, and commission process-control equipment and instrumentation.
• Diagnose equipment failures, recommend corrective actions, and support production to minimize downtime.
• Maintain work orders, calibration records, spare-parts usage, equipment histories, electrical drawings, control schematics, and P&IDs.
• Support mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs while following safety, food safety, and quality procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training in electrical, instrumentation, industrial maintenance, or mechatronics is preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical and instrumentation systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of PLC systems, electrical controls, sensors, instrumentation, motor controls, and process automation equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, control drawings, and P&IDs.
• Experience with preventive maintenance, calibration, equipment inspections, CMMS, and maintenance documentation.
• Ability and willingness to work a permanent night shift from Wednesday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or technical certification in electrical technology, instrumentation, automation, or a related discipline.
• Experience in food, ingredients, chemical, or process manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ISO, food safety, environmental, and occupational health and safety standards.
