TL;DR

Focus on repairing complex equipment, interpreting electrical and pneumatic drawings, coordinating supplier support, and resolving seal-testing issues with production teams.

Location: Morton Grove, Illinois, USA; onsite maintenance role

What you will do

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair pneumatic and electrical equipment used on specialized test rigs.
  • Work with pneumatic valves, pressure regulators, air pressure boosters, high-pressure compressors, and AC/DC motors from 120 to 480 VAC.
  • Support PLC and HMI equipment and use electrical, pneumatic, and general technical drawings to diagnose issues.
  • Assist with annual calibration of test rigs, maintain calibration records, and follow preventive maintenance programs.
  • Manage spare-parts inventory and coordinate with suppliers on troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Collaborate with test technicians and the production supervisor to resolve seal-testing problems.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of pneumatic equipment, instruments, electrical systems, PLCs, and HMIs.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic and electrical systems and specialized testing equipment.
  • Knowledge of calibration and preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to interpret electrical and pneumatic drawings and use Microsoft Office 365.
  • Relevant associate's or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
