Manager, Facilities

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; onsite

Salary: CAD 110,000–130,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage daily facility and grounds operations, including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, utilities, buildings, roads, and infrastructure.
• Lead the design, planning, construction, maintenance, and expansion of facility-related projects.
• Develop and manage facilities budgets, schedules, cost estimates, resource allocation, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Establish policies and conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments, and corrective actions for health, safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and contractors while ensuring work meets contractual obligations and company standards.
• Drive continuous improvement through best practices, new technologies, and facilities management innovation.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related maintenance practices.
• Expertise in health, safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams and large-scale facilities projects.
• Financial acumen covering budget management, cost optimization, and resource allocation.
• Ability to manage personnel and coordinate external vendors and contractors.
