Chiller Product Support Engineer (HVAC)

Location: La Crosse, Wisconsin, United States. Hybrid schedule with onsite work Monday through Thursday and flexible work location on Fridays; expected to be based in La Crosse. Up to 10% travel is required.

Annual base salary: $72,611.66–$101,394.99.

What you will do

• Provide technical and sales support for Trane’s centrifugal chiller portfolio through field organization support, customer interactions, factory visits, and commercialization activities.
• Create marketing documentation, presentations, product literature, selling stories, bid strategies, competitive positioning, and application guidance.
• Travel to sales offices, customer sites, corporate events, and tradeshows for presentations, sales discussions, and equipment support.
• Partner with engineering, product management, marketing, operations, and software teams to resolve issues and improve tools and processes.
• Price equipment for projects, assist with bid strategies, and support the configuration and improvement of Trane Select Assist software.
• Train and mentor field sales engineers and support a customer-focused performance improvement environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for customer, sales, and internal collaboration.
• Ability to provide technical guidance on chiller products, applications, pricing, and sales strategies.
• Based in La Crosse, Wisconsin, with regular onsite office attendance required.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and support customer sites, sales offices, events, and tradeshows.

• Prior HVAC experience.
