Maintenance HVAC Technician (HVACR)

Location: Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, United States; onsite, 8-hour day shift

Salary: $30.64–$36.62 per hour

What you will do

• Perform preventive and repair maintenance on industrial HVAC and facility equipment.
• Maintain pumps, steam traps, heat exchangers, refrigeration systems, compressors, chillers, cooling towers, water treatment systems, air handling units, humidifiers, coils, and compressed air dryers.
• Work with pneumatic, electric, and direct digital controls, including Automated Logic systems.
• Handle refrigerants and obtain the required state and federal CFC certifications.
• Provide short-notice shift coverage and work overtime, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma/GED or higher.
• Technical degree in HVACR, or at least five years of industrial maintenance experience as an HVACR or facility equipment technician.
• Ability to work an 8-hour day shift and provide additional coverage when required.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree in a technical discipline with three to four years of HVACR industrial experience.
• Experience with facility controls or building management systems.
• Universal EPA 608 Certification.
• Experience with Windows-based computer systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
