Senior Financial Accountant

Location: Fully remote within the United States; Los Angeles or Las Vegas preferred. Up to 10% travel required.

Salary: $115,000–$125,000 annually, with potential annual performance bonus, ESPP, enhanced time off, and benefits.

What you will do

• Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses for monthly and quarterly close activities.
• Manage lease accounting schedules under ASC 842, including expirations, renewals, and period-end adjustments.
• Maintain corporate debt schedules, interest accruals, and fee calculations for debt instruments and credit facilities.
• Oversee fixed asset accounting, including capitalization reviews, depreciation, roll-forwards, and retirements.
• Prepare disclosure schedules for quarterly and annual financial filings.
• Partner with FP&A, Tax, Internal Audit, and Legal to improve workflows and resolve operational challenges.

Requirements

• 2+ years of accounting experience under US GAAP.
• At least 1 year of experience with cloud-based accounting software; Oracle Fusion experience is a plus.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Strong understanding and practical application of accrual accounting principles under US GAAP.
• BA or BS in accounting or a related discipline.
• Must be able to work fully remotely within the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Big Four accounting experience.
