Senior Technical Accounting Manager

Location: Remote in the United States, including California

Salary: $104,753–$167,605 US base salary

What you will do

• Prepare and review accounting entries, reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation for complex accounting areas.
• Apply revenue recognition guidance to customer contracts and sales arrangements, including subscriptions, reserves, chargebacks, allowances, and deductions.
• Review and maintain lease accounting, including right-of-use assets and lease liabilities under ASC 842.
• Research U.S. GAAP, prepare technical accounting memoranda, and assess new accounting pronouncements.
• Support financial statement audits, quarterly filing schedules, strategic transaction assessments, and general accounting activities.
• Maintain accounting policies, improve process documentation, and support internal control compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Active CPA license and experience with a national public accounting firm.
• 8+ years of accounting experience, including experience supervising others.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience preparing technical accounting memoranda and reporting disclosures.
• Strong analytical, communication, process improvement, and Microsoft Office skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP systems such as Sage, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
