People Business Partner (AI)

Location: New York Office

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Advise leaders on organization design, workforce planning, performance, manager development, employee relations, and organizational health.
• Coach managers on feedback, performance, team health, and leadership effectiveness.
• Improve the employee lifecycle across onboarding, engagement, retention, development, and career planning.
• Own performance cycles, including communications, timelines, feedback quality, and calibration.
• Build manager coaching programs, workshops, people infrastructure, and scalable operating rhythms.
• Use people data and organizational trends to identify risks early and recommend action.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in HR business partnering or people operations at a high-growth company.
• Independent ownership of performance management and employee relations.
• Strong expertise in performance, calibration, manager coaching, and employee relations.
• Systems thinking, business judgment, bias for action, and the ability to influence senior leaders through credibility and partnership.
• Experience across the employee lifecycle, with appropriate discretion in sensitive situations.
• Ability to work from the New York office.

• Experience building and teaching manager programs in a rapidly scaling organization.
• Experience running calibration across teams with different types of work.
• Experience building job architecture or career ladders and supporting promotion cycles.
• Experience using AI for feedback synthesis, cycle preparation, policy drafting, or people analytics.
• Experience partnering with technical teams, go-to-market organizations, and immigration counsel on sponsored employees.
