Staff People Partner (AI)

Location: Remote in the United States

Base salary: $162,000–$211,250 for candidates in New York City and San Francisco; $122,000–$176,000 for other US-based team members, plus annual bonus potential, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Coach managers through performance concerns, feedback, development conversations, and sensitive employee situations.
• Lead complex employee relations matters, including investigations, recommendations, and resolution.
• Partner on promotions, compensation changes, retention requests, internal mobility, and other individual talent decisions.
• Use generative AI to synthesize information, accelerate research and documentation, and improve decision support.
• Build reusable AI-enabled workflows, prompts, projects, and tools for the People function.
• Surface organizational patterns and translate recurring issues into manager guidance, frameworks, and scalable solutions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in HR business partnering, People Partner, employee relations, or a similar consultative People role.
• Advanced hands-on use of generative AI, including reusable workflows, prompts, projects, agents, or tools.
• Strong judgment regarding appropriate AI use with sensitive employee information and consequential People decisions.
• Deep experience coaching managers and leaders through complex performance and employee matters.
• Experience partnering with Managers, Directors, Senior Directors, and/or VPs.
• Exceptional communication, ownership, follow-through, systems thinking, and cross-functional influence.

• Experience across multiple organizations or business functions.
• Experience working with Legal, Compensation, People Operations, Finance, and other People specialties.
• Experience in distributed or global organizations with complex employment considerations.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup, open-source, AI, or data science-oriented company.
