Quality Engineer, Functional Testing

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States; hybrid with three days in-office and two days virtual

What you will do

• Perform functional testing and provide internal quality assurance for financial software solutions.
• Create test plans based on user stories and developer unit tests.
• Develop, maintain, and upgrade manual or automated test scripts, test cases, utilities, simulators, and test data.
• Communicate testing activities and findings through stand-ups, iteration and system demonstrations, and Jira.
• Organize the test script repository and manage daily testing activities.
• Support the product owner with risk identification and mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Knowledge of software testing methods, tools, technologies, and quality management practices.
• Ability to work closely with developers and testers in an Agile development environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
• Current and future visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
