Sr. Quality Practice Lead – IT Quality Assurance Consultant (AI)

Location: Bloomington, IL, United States

Salary: $113,200–$155,650 per year, plus eligibility for a short-term incentive plan.

What you will do

• Provide enterprise quality assurance consulting, coaching, governance, and thought leadership across application areas, Agile Release Trains, value streams, and delivery teams.
• Strengthen and standardize testing practices, including test planning, execution, measurement, reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Research modern testing practices, evaluate emerging tools, and recommend process and automation improvements.
• Coach teams on testing standards, defect management, risk-based testing, regression testing, and automation adoption.
• Analyze quality metrics, defect leakage, test coverage, release readiness, and process performance.
• Support solution design, testing, debugging, and implementation according to technical standards and best practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
• Experience as an IT Quality Assurance Consultant, Quality Practice Lead, Quality Engineering Lead, QA Governance Lead, QA Transformation Lead, Test Lead, QA Manager, or in a similar role.
• Experience with quality metrics, defect management, requirements traceability, test reporting, dashboards, and process improvement programs.
• Experience with Rally, Azure DevOps, Jira, GitLab, or similar delivery and test management platforms.
• Knowledge of insurance, financial services, or another regulated business domain.
• Ability to work across multiple teams and priorities, with occasional work beyond normal business hours when business needs require it.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI-enabled testing, CI/CD quality gates, test automation accelerators, performance testing, observability, test data management, and test environment management.
