Business Process Reengineering Consultant (Federal IT)

Location: Hybrid in Washington, DC, with remote work and onsite engagement at ICE Headquarters as requested. Travel may be required.

What you will do

• Evaluate existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and apply data-driven analysis and industry best practices.
• Develop and implement workflow optimization strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support adoption across a geographically dispersed user base.
• Monitor process improvements and training initiatives using feedback and performance metrics.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and meetings, document process changes, and communicate new workflows.
• Use project management methodologies to oversee implementation and ensure timely delivery against project goals.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and fulfill ICE Public Trust/Suitability requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business administration, management, or a related field.
• 3–7 or more years of experience identifying inefficiencies and optimizing workflows for IT training solutions.
• At least 3 years of experience in a U.S. Government environment and 5 years supporting a large federal law-enforcement IT program.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, leadership, and change-management skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Consulting experience with federal government clients in complex enterprise IT environments.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or demonstrated experience applying process-improvement methodologies.
• Experience supporting DHS, ICE, or other federal law-enforcement organizations.
