Advisory Manager (Forensics & Restructuring)

Location: San Francisco Bay Area, San Jose, CA, or Walnut Creek, CA; hybrid work is expected for candidates within commuting distance of a hirify.global office.

What you will do

• Lead forensic accounting investigations, fraud risk assessments, and litigation support engagements.
• Manage restructuring assignments, including insolvency analysis, turnaround strategies, and creditor negotiations.
• Supervise and mentor associates and senior associates, providing performance feedback and career guidance.
• Develop client relationships and advise attorneys, business owners, executives, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and review financial reports, presentations, and expert witness documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure compliance with professional standards and firm policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification required; CFE pursuit recommended.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in forensic accounting, restructuring, or advisory services.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading client engagements.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and financial modeling, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
