Field Support Technician (EV Charging)

Location: Remote within the United States; must reside within a reasonable distance of a major airport and travel regularly to customer locations throughout the United States.

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year, plus a performance-based bonus program.

What you will do

• Support go-live activities for new EV charging sites, including site readiness checks and on-site coordination.
• Inspect new vehicles, verify readiness, and document findings before site activation.
• Assist with asset inspections, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repairs at customer locations.
• Support high-voltage charger operations, including plug cycles and commissioning service needs.
• Perform low-voltage battery replacements and jump-starts while following safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate commissioning, inspection, and work documentation in asset and project management platforms.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Computer proficiency with documentation tools, spreadsheets, and asset or project management platforms.
• Basic electrical and AC skills, with the ability to interpret safety, operating, and maintenance documents.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to travel regularly and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record are required.

Nice to have

• Automotive Technology certification from an accredited school.
• Prior project management or project coordination experience.
