Field Service Technician

Location: Denver, CO or Boulder, CO; remote classification with daily outdoor field work and travel up to 50% across the region.

Salary: $55,000–$65,000 per year, plus overtime and Flock stock options.

What you will do

• Install, align, maintain, and repair camera systems, solar panels, batteries, mounting poles, and mobile trailers.
• Conduct site surveys with public safety partners and property owners, verifying traffic-control plans and permit compliance.
• Prepare sites through post-hole digging, mounting hardware installation, and LPR and PTZ camera alignment.
• Diagnose field hardware, software connections, low-voltage wiring, and minor underground wiring or irrigation disruptions.
• Document installations, service records, inventory, site photos, and equipment shipments using mobile field applications.
• Drive service vehicles and tow trailers while working safely on rooftops, ladders, bucket trucks, and lifts.

Requirements

• Practical experience in low-voltage wiring, electrical assembly, construction, or technical field service.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work independently outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• Ability to operate service vans, trucks, and small equipment trailers safely.
• Comfort using mobile applications and basic digital tools for records and inventory.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to travel 1–2 weeks per month, up to 50%, with occasional Saturday travel or project work.
