Sr Specialist - Employee Relations

What you will do

• Manage complex voluntary and involuntary employee exits across multiple international jurisdictions.
• Advise clients and external employees on terminations, resignations, transfers, contracts, redundancies, and workplace concerns.
• Lead consultations, administrative hearings, separation negotiations, settlements, and termination meetings.
• Coordinate with payroll, legal counsel, government bodies, trade unions, and internal teams to ensure compliant offboarding.
• Prepare termination documentation, maintain confidential employee records, and process exits in the HRIS.
• Identify and implement improvements in automation, product development, and employee and customer experience.

Requirements

• Experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with broad employee lifecycle knowledge.
• Strong experience independently managing employee exits, terminations, employment law guidance, and HR matters across jurisdictions.
• Understanding of employee relations, progressive discipline, workplace investigations, and industrial instruments.
• Excellent communication, influencing, conflict management, negotiation, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced business-level English in written and spoken communication is required.
• Ability to work autonomously in an international, asynchronous, hirify.global environment and manage competing priorities.

Nice to have

• Tertiary qualifications in HR, labour relations, or employment law.
• Additional language skills.
