People Operations Leader (AI Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Run the employee lifecycle from accepted offer through offboarding, including preboarding, onboarding, internal moves, approved compensation changes, leaves, and departures.
• Coordinate employee handoffs among Talent, managers, IT, Finance, payroll providers, and other partners.
• Support employees and managers, resolve routine issues, and escalate sensitive or complex matters appropriately.
• Maintain accurate employee records across HRIS, payroll, benefits, and equity systems, auditing workflows and resolving discrepancies.
• Administer benefits, prepare payroll inputs, investigate payroll exceptions, and manage performance-review cycles.
• Build People Operations processes, systems, playbooks, reporting, compliance records, and employee self-service resources.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in People Operations or HR Operations in a growing company.
• Direct ownership of employee lifecycle, benefits, and payroll processes.
• Experience with HRIS platforms and connected systems such as ATS, payroll, and benefits platforms.
• Experience running performance-review cycles and processing approved outcomes into employee records and payroll changes.
• Working knowledge of employment law and compliance fundamentals, with excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.

• Experience scaling People systems and practices at an early-stage or high-growth company.
• Experience coordinating employment through an employer of record or supporting employees in more than one country.
