Sr Director, BU Planning – Connectivity (Semiconductors)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States

Salary: $186,900–$280,000 per annum, plus bonus and equity

What you will do

• Own end-to-end supply planning across optical DSP, Ethernet PHY, and PCIe retimer product lines.
• Lead revenue forecasting, customer commit management, capacity allocation, and build-plan development.
• Represent Connectivity in customer and executive reviews, including briefings for senior leadership.
• Lead recovery, ramp, and scale-up programs for hyperscale AI and cloud customers.
• Build and lead a high-performing BU planning team with proactive, data-driven operating practices.
• Partner with Sales, Engineering, Finance, Procurement, Foundry, OSAT, Logistics, IT, and Analytics on supply execution and planning systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Operations; MBA preferred.
• 15+ years of semiconductor or systems supply chain planning experience, including 7+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience supporting hyperscale cloud, AI infrastructure, or high-speed interconnect customers.
• Knowledge of optical modules and DSPs, Ethernet PHYs, PCIe/CXL retimers, or active copper cabling.
• Experience owning revenue forecasts, customer commits, and capacity allocation in supply-constrained environments.
• Experience with advanced planning systems such as Kinaxis, Oracle, or SAP IBP, with strong executive communication skills.

• Experience with Kinaxis or Power BI modernization initiatives.
