Director, Supply Chain Management (AI Hardware)

Location: Hybrid, based in Toronto, Ontario; Austin, Texas; or Santa Clara, California

Salary: $100,000–$500,000 annual base and variable compensation targets; actual offers depend on experience, skills, education, background, and location.

What you will do

• Build and lead the supply chain operating infrastructure supporting product launches, global scaling, and the full product lifecycle.
• Own product certification and market-readiness deliverables, including certification roadmaps, readiness gates, partner coordination, and launch-risk mitigation.
• Own and mature the Sales & Operations Planning process by connecting demand, sales forecasts, supply, manufacturing capacity, inventory, and financial objectives.
• Build the global RMA and customer operations model covering intake, triage, replacement, repair, warranty management, disposition, service levels, escalations, and performance metrics.
• Establish scalable processes, systems, KPIs, dashboards, governance, and operating mechanisms for forecast accuracy, supply performance, inventory health, backlog, certification readiness, RMA performance, and execution against plan.
• Lead cross-functional execution with Sales, Product, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Manufacturing, test labs, regulatory bodies, and customer teams.

Requirements

• Demonstrated leadership experience with exposure to CEO-level decisions and engagement.
• Experience operating in hardware and supply chain environments across engineering, product, sales, manufacturing, quality, finance, legal, and customer operations.
• Ability to create operating models and executable plans in ambiguous environments.
• Strong cross-functional leadership, decision-rights management, accountability, and execution skills.
• Data-driven and analytically rigorous decision-making with incomplete information.
• People leadership experience, including team development and building subject-matter expertise.
