Sr Staff Professional, Optics Supply Planner (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States. The role involves onsite coordination with external vendors and internal chip design teams. Candidates must be eligible to access export-controlled technology under U.S. regulations.

Salary: $106,800–$160,000 per annum, plus eligibility for bonus and equity plans.

What you will do

• Maintain accurate demand forecasts and lead quarterly demand and build-plan consensus across business units, sales, and finance.
• Analyze bookings, customer lead times, historical sales, market trends, and sales forecasts to create segmented forecasting techniques.
• Manage product portfolio reviews, including product discontinuations and new product ramps.
• Coordinate foundry, assembly, testing, warehousing, and other external vendors for chip projects.
• Review wafer-start and assembly-load plans, set buffer stocks, and balance supply, delivery, and inventory goals.
• Own customer on-time delivery metrics and drive root-cause and corrective-action initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in a managerial capacity; 7+ years of related job experience is also specified.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry is strongly preferred.
• BS/BA in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or Operations; MBA/MS preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, reporting, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with advanced planning systems and advanced Excel skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
• Must be eligible to access U.S. export-controlled information; non-U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, and protected individuals may require export license review.
