Maintenance Technician (Food Manufacturing)

Location: Kenosha, Wisconsin, United States; onsite manufacturing plant

Salary: $24.42–$36.82 per hour, based on experience, skills, and location, with additional overtime and incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, controls, steam, refrigeration, and wastewater equipment.
• Execute preventive maintenance work while minimizing production interruptions.
• Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to maintain output and support plant projects.
• Fabricate components, tools, and equipment, and operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Maintain CMMS work orders, completions, requisitions, and inventory, and use SAP for purchase requisitions.
• Direct corrective actions required to maintain safe plant operations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience with sanitary systems, pumps, gearboxes, steam traps, and industrial processing equipment.
• Ability to work with electrical systems, motors, drives, PLCs, temperature controls, flow controls, and other instruments.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift up to 75 pounds, work at elevated heights, and perform physically demanding maintenance duties.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn new and existing processing systems.
• Must work onsite in Kenosha, Wisconsin, United States.

Nice to have

• Blue or Black Seal Boiler License.
• Food manufacturing and GMP environment experience.
• Stainless steel and sanitary welding skills.
