Maintenance Technician III (HVAC/Refrigeration)

Location: USA - OH - West Chester; onsite day shift, 2-2-3 schedule from 6:00am to 6:30pm

Salary: $24.00–$38.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform scheduled, corrective, and emergency maintenance of site facilities equipment independently.
• Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration systems, including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, humidifiers, and air dryers.
• Monitor equipment performance, building management alarms, and daily facility checks; respond to issues and work requests.
• Use CMMS to document maintenance activities, work orders, temporary fixes, permanent repairs, and process deviations.
• Read and interpret SOPs, technical documentation, diagrams, drawings, and schematics.
• Support spill control, hazardous-material handling, first aid, lockout/tagout, and safe work practices.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Relevant skills or licensure in a skilled trade, including HVAC/Refrigeration, electrical, boiler operations, water purification, industrial maintenance, pipe fitting, fire alarm systems, or automated material handling.
• Experience with building fire systems, plumbing, lighting, HVAC/refrigeration equipment, low-voltage electrical systems, and emergency diesel generators.
• Three to five years of relevant experience and familiarity with CMMS.
• Ability to work in a regulated or cGMP environment and comply with safety procedures, gowning, and PPE requirements.
• Sponsorship or support for work authorization, including visas, is not available.

Nice to have

• High school diploma and certification in a skilled trade.
• Associate degree in a technical discipline.
• Prior experience in a regulated or cGMP environment.
