TL;DR
HR Generalist (Moroccan Labour Law and Payroll): Managing employee lifecycle compliance, payroll, social declarations, work authorization, and HR operations for Morocco and the wider MEA region with an accent on local labour law, employee relations, and regulatory execution. Focus on handling sensitive employee cases, coordinating cross-border mobility, adapting group policies to local requirements, and operating as the region’s autonomous HR point of contact.

What you will do
- Own compliance with the Moroccan Labour Code and applicable requirements across the MEA region, covering contracts, working time, leave, termination, severance, and employee representation.
- Adapt group employment contracts, internal work rules, HR policies, and onboarding practices to local requirements.
- Manage monthly payroll inputs and validation, social and tax declarations, local benefits, and employee records.
- Handle employee relations, disciplinary procedures, conflict resolution, sensitive cases, onboarding, offboarding, and absence management in HiBob.
- Own work authorization and residence formalities for foreign nationals and coordinate mobility between France, Switzerland, Morocco, and the US.
- Act as the regional HR point of contact for employees, managers, and leadership while partnering with the Paris HR team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or HRBP role in Morocco.
- Deep practical knowledge of the Moroccan Labour Code and hands-on ownership of payroll and social declarations with a local provider.
- Experience with work authorization and residence formalities for foreign nationals in the region.
- Established relationships with local authorities, counsel, and providers; experience operating as the sole HR professional in a location.
- Strong prioritization, autonomy, discretion, and ability to manage high-volume, sensitive HR matters.
- Full professional fluency in French and English is required. Arabic is a plus.

- Experience in a fast-growing or newly established entity.
- Exposure to HR practices elsewhere in the MEA region.
- Arabic language skills.
