What you will do

• Provide front- and back-office assistance to healthcare providers during patient preparation, examination, and treatment.
• Greet and check in patients, verify coverage and eligibility, complete paperwork, schedule appointments, and manage telephone inquiries.
• Collect patient histories and vital signs, assist with care coordination, administer medications, and review patient instructions.
• Prepare examination rooms and clean and sterilize instruments according to protocol.
• Attend staff meetings and training, cross-train on new procedures, and help orient new employees and temporary staff.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required.
• At least one year of front- and back-office experience.
• Phlebotomy skills and solid computer skills, including experience with electronic health records.
• Excellent customer service, teamwork, time management, responsibility, and reliability.
• Ability to work clinic hours and onsite at the West Palm clinic.

Nice to have

• CMA or RMA certification.
