Medical Assistant (Healthcare)

Location: Field-based across Georgia, with daily travel to members' homes. Candidates must reside in or near the covered service areas.

Salary: $20–$27 per hour, with certified Medical Assistants starting at a higher hourly rate.

What you will do

• Partner with providers during in-home patient visits.
• Gather medical histories, patient information, vital signs, specimens, and phlebotomy samples.
• Support patient education, engagement, preventive care, and chronic care-gap closure.
• Document care activities in electronic medical record systems.
• Coordinate pre-visit and post-visit activities while maintaining field supplies and equipment.
• Travel throughout assigned Georgia counties to support patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• At least one year of healthcare experience.
• Current BLS certification or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Experience with electronic health records and the ability to work independently in a field-based setting.
• Must reside in or near the covered Georgia service areas.

Nice to have

• Current CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification.
• Experience in home health, primary care, risk adjustment, Medicare Advantage, value-based care, population health, community-based care, or care management.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
