Global Accounts Payable Manager (SAP S/4HANA)

What you will do

• Lead a team of four accounts payable professionals and provide operational guidance to international accounting teams.
• Manage full-cycle AP operations across the US, Europe, and Asia, including the global Travel and Expense program in SAP Concur.
• Partner with Lean Six Sigma specialists to improve Procure-to-Pay workflows, remove bottlenecks, and identify automation opportunities.
• Lead business requirements and user testing for a global AP invoice system upgrade and standardize vendor onboarding, master data, and invoice processing.
• Prepare AP performance reporting and cash outflow forecasts for the executive leadership team while optimizing DPO and working capital.
• Collaborate with Procurement, internal stakeholders, and strategic vendors to resolve discrepancies, enforce No PO, No Pay policies, and manage escalations.

Requirements

• Deep functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA accounts payable functionality.
• At least 10 years of progressive corporate accounts payable experience, including 3 years leading complex system upgrades or global transformation initiatives.
• Experience managing direct reports and collaborating with international dotted-line teams.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field.
• Advanced skills in DPO calculations, cash-flow charting, and Procure-to-Pay metric reporting.
• Strong emotional intelligence, patience with cross-functional stakeholders, and an analytical approach to resolving bottlenecks.

• Hands-on experience with X-Suite or a similar advanced AP automation and OCR platform.
