Accounts Payable Shared Services Senior Manager

Location: US Remote; travel of up to 25% may be required for collaboration, problem solving, process-improvement initiatives, and company-wide events.

Salary: $125,000–$160,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead Invoice-to-Pay personnel across three North American locations, focusing on process improvement, coaching, development, and results.
• Design and implement a shared-services model for accounts payable teams and processes.
• Analyze procure-to-pay workflows and operational measures, identify root causes, and recommend scalable improvements using digital solutions.
• Develop strategy, operational objectives, and process roadmaps while collaborating with operations, procurement, finance, and treasury.
• Ensure accounts payable procedures comply with state and federal regulations.
• Support month-end close through accrual preparation and reconciliations, and coordinate audit reporting and reconciliations.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 10 years of experience, including ERP payables systems, continuous improvement, and people management.
• Extensive accounts payable operations experience in mid-sized to large manufacturing organizations and end-to-end procure-to-pay processes.
• High proficiency with Excel and ERP/MRP software; Infor Syteline ERP experience is preferred.
• Experience with process improvement, business operations, project management, change management, and automation or technology implementations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills, with the ability to lead through change and manage multiple priorities.
