Process Specialist (Technology Transfer)

Location: Oakville, Ontario, Canada; applicants must be within commuting distance of the Greater Toronto Area

Salary: CAD 65,000 annual base compensation

Eurofins CDMO Alphora develops and manufactures active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished dosage products for pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.

What you will do

• Support the scale-up and technology transfer of chemical processes from gram to multi-kilogram scale.
• Generate, review, and execute Master, Production, and Executed Batch Records.
• Provide technical support during manufacturing campaigns and guide batch execution on the production floor.
• Coordinate batch scheduling, readiness checks, material availability, bills of materials, and operational tracking.
• Represent Operations in internal and client meetings, provide production updates, and support project communication.
• Assist with process deviations, amendments, SOP updates, campaign reports, data trending, and production troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, life sciences, or a related discipline.
• Ability to work effectively in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety, compliance, cGMP, EHS, and Good Documentation Practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across R&D, QC, QA, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and client teams.
• Willingness to provide after-hours support through an on-call rotation.
• Passion for problem-solving and complex chemical manufacturing processes.
