Field Service Representative

Location: Remote within Canada; the successful candidate must live in the Calgary, Alberta area. The role includes on-site customer visits and approximately 25% travel.

Salary: CAD 83,680–130,750 per year, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits.

What you will do

• Install and optimize hardware, software, networking products, and configurations at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve product performance problems across company and multi-vendor systems.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on laboratory instruments and integrated solutions.
• Advise customers on preventive maintenance and configurations that affect product performance.
• Proactively identify equipment issues and help prevent unplanned business interruptions.
• Train field engineers and customers on delivered solutions.

Requirements

• Must live in the Calgary, Alberta area.
• Post-secondary degree in a science field such as chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or biotechnology, or an equivalent college degree with relevant work experience.
• At least 4 years of laboratory experience working with spectroscopy, GC, LC, and GCP.
• Experience with troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Clear, respectful, and timely verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to travel and visit customers; travel expectation is 25%.
