Operator- Scrap - Hickman

Location: Onsite at the Hickman Terminal in Blytheville, Arkansas; assignments may occur at multiple berths within a 12-mile radius.

What you will do

• Process, transfer, and store scrap steel safely and efficiently.
• Maintain assigned equipment and tools, and perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and housekeeping.
• Identify, report, and correct safety and environmental concerns.
• Complete operational documentation and records while following company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Attend safety meetings and perform other terminal functions as trained and assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of driving experience; a CDL is not required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to follow supervision and work cooperatively with others.
• Ability to work all shifts, overtime, weekends, holidays, and assigned call-outs.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including climbing, working at heights up to 30 feet, and frequently lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
