Lab Pack Ops Supervisor (Hazardous Waste)

Location: Baltimore, MD, USA; onsite

Salary: $78,900–$108,450 per year, plus a 10% annual incentive plan target.

What you will do

• Supervise operations personnel and direct the handling, sampling, analysis, processing, documentation, treatment, and disposition of waste.
• Coordinate receiving, off-loading, inventory, supplies, vendors, transporters, and treatment facilities.
• Ensure safe storage and handling of process chemicals and compliance with plant safety procedures.
• Review waste profile data and facility permits, approve batch clearance, and evaluate post-treatment samples.
• Review and sign RCRA manifests and notify appropriate personnel about maintenance requirements.
• Train, evaluate, and support employees while participating in facility and transportation emergency response operations.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience.
• Knowledge of hazardous waste management.
• Knowledge of personnel management, operations, equipment, waste processing, and recycling techniques.
• Knowledge of receiving, purchasing, work orders, special licenses, and DOT training.
• Strong accuracy, thoroughness, attention to detail, prioritization, and ability to manage diverse responsibilities.
